Cities and Chambers of Commerce which already had the right to issue banknotes, in particular in the occupied zone, will have the possibility of circulating emergency banknotes which help monetary circulation. This type of official coin responds to the same request. It does not bear the words REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE or LIBERTE EGALITE FRATERNITE, but "CHAMBRES DE COMMERCE" followed by the name of the town or region.
