Reverse description : Cavalier à droite, tenant une lance au-dessus de son épaule de la main droite, et les rênes de la gauche.

Commentary


Ce monnayage jusqu'alors inédit est repris dans le Nouvel Atlas Tome III comme type III "à la cavalière" de la série 1088 "fractions en argent des peuples centraux". La chevelure y est décrite "élaborée faite de trois rangées de petites boucles arrondies". Sur cet exemplaire, il semblerait qu'Apollon soit plutôt lauré ! Au revers, le flan large permet d'avoir le type presque complet.
This hitherto unpublished coinage is included in the New Atlas Volume III as type III \\\"à la cavaliere\\\" of the series 1088 \\\"silver fractions of the central peoples\\\". The hair is described as “elaborate made of three rows of small rounded curls”. On this example, it seems that Apollo is rather lauded! On the reverse, the wide blank allows you to have the almost complete type
