Flan irrégulier avec un léger éclatement. Jolie patine foncée avec petite concrétion verte à 7 heures au droit. Reliefs assez marqués au droit et au revers. Exemplaire presque TTB. La croix du droit apparaît légèrement en négatif au revers

Jean Ier le Roux succeeded his father Pierre Ier Mauclerc (1213-1237). He extended the ducal domain in particular with the reunion of Penthièvre in the Duchy of Brittany and the annexation of several places (Brest, Dinan, Hennebont...).
