Commentary
The campaign was brilliant and brought about the Peace of Nijmegen. The Chosen Ones immediately went to Paris, to Jean-Baptiste Dufour, former cutter of the King's Mint, and ordered from him a token bearing an olive tree laden with many fruits, with a motto meaning: I have imposed peace on my enemies, you will enjoy its golden fruits. To complete the allusion, all the silver tokens, as well as those of copper, were to be gilded.
