Boîte de production allemande avec mention sur une étiquette : “Diefe geachte Wang und Gewicht macht von ibro Churfürftl. Durchl. zu Pfalz- ayern gnädigft examinirt., privile- girt und gefchworner. JOHANN daniel vom BERG, in der Bergifchen Hauprfadt Lennep 178(2)”. Exemplaire présentant à l’intérieur quelques inscriptions à l’encre rouge, celles-ci indiquent l’emplacement des poids. Les poids de forme carré (certains ont un bouton, d’autres non) sont d’origine avec : 1 demi-ducat (1,76 g) 1 ducat (3,50 g), 1 demi-carlin (4,87 g), 1 carlin (9,73 g), 1 demi- pistol(e) (3,33 g), 1 pistol(e) (6,75 g), 2 pistol(es) (13,51 g), 1 demi-sever (5,52 g), 1 sever (11,10 g), 1 louis d’or (8,11 g) et 1 Maxd (6,51 g). Tous les poids sont contremarqués d’un lion en haut à droite de chacun d’entre eux (sauf celui du Louis d’or). Sous le petit couvercle, vous ne retrouverez rien, généralement on y trouve de fines lamelles. La boîte, en bois sombre et fermée par une attache métallique, est quasi complète mis à part les fines lamelles.

JOHANN daniel vom BERG, in the Bergifchen main office Lennep 178(2)”. example with some inscriptions in red ink inside, indicating the location of the weights. The square-shaped weights (some have a button, others do not) are original with: 1 half-ducat (1.76 g) 1 ducat (3.50 g), 1 half-carlin (4.87 g), 1 carlin (9.73 g), 1 half-pistol(e) (3.33 g), 1 pistol(e) (6.75 g), 2 pistol(es) (13.51 g), 1 half-sever (5.52 g), 1 sever (11.10 g), 1 louis d'or (8.11 g) and 1 Maxd (6.51 g).
