Médaille de Charles IV (empereur des Romains) s’inpirant d’un gulden frappé entre 1346 et 1370.
Charles IV (en allemand : Karl IV, en tchèque : Karel IV., 14 mai 1316 - 29 novembre 1378) de la maison de Luxembourg est empereur des Romains de 1355 à sa mort.
Il est le fils de Jean l’Aveugle, roi de Bohême, comte de Luxembourg, et d'Élisabeth de Bohême, héritière par son père Venceslas II de la couronne de Bohême..
