This potin was considered unique in 1975 when S. Scheers published the Danicourt collection in Péronne. While a few examples are in private collections, this potin remains very rare. On some examples, like this one, which are better preserved than average, it appears to have a rider on the horse. The obverse remains in a completely atypical style, much more realistic, and the eye is treated in an almond shape.
