Superbe potin avec un droit et un revers particulièrement nets. Patine sombre et brillante sur un flan large et régulier avec juste un petit manque de coulée visible sur la tranche vers 3 heures au droit

Commentary

Ce type de droit est très proche de ceux des potins dits "aux chevrons" dont l'attribution oscille entre les Bellovaques et les Aulerques Éburovices.
Cette rare série de potins, mieux connue depuis l’étude qui en a été réalisée dans le CN n° 154, proviendrait du Loir-et-Cher. Si ces potins sont assez peu communs, cette variante avec la tête à droite est exceptionnelle, qui plus est dans ce genre d’état de conservation !.
This type of right is very close to those of the so-called \\\"chevron\\\" gossips, whose attribution oscillates between the Bellovaques and the Aulerques Eburovices. This rare series of gossips, better known since the study carried out in CN n° 154, comes from Loir-et-Cher. If these gossips are quite uncommon, this variant with the head on the right is exceptional, especially in this kind of state of preservation!
