Exemplaire sur un petit flan bien centré des deux côtés. Très beau portrait de haut relief, bien venu à la frappe. Revers de style fin. Très jolie patine verte profond

Poids très léger. Très bel exemplaire pour ce monnayage. Semble plus rare que ne le laissent supposer les ouvrages généraux.

BITHYNIA - BITHYNIAN KINGDOM - PRUSIAS II
(185-149 BC)
Prusias II is the son of Prusias I (228-185 BC), king of Bithynia and the grandson of Philip V of Macedonia by his mother. Hannibal had taken refuge in Nicomedia with his father. For fear of being delivered to the Romans by Prusias II, the Carthaginian poisoned himself in 183 BC. ). Prusias II had to give up part of his territory to the King of Pergamon. He tried to ally himself with the Romans and, in the face of such cowardice, was finally assassinated in the temple of Zeus in Nicomedia by the mob.
