Ce denier est frappé sur un flan large et est légèrement décentré au revers. Exemplaire recouvert d’une patine grise. La croix du droit apparaît en négatif au revers. Infime fente à 4 heures au droit

BERRY - LORDSHIP OF GIEN - HERVÉ III DE DONZY
(1160-1194)
The coinage of the seigneury of Gien began under Geoffroy II de Donzy (1055-1112). Hervé III de Donzy succeeded Geoffroy III de Donzy in 1160. It was probably under this lord that the last coins of Gien were struck.
