Obverse description : Tête casquée à droite, deux petits chevaux affrontés aux crinières surdéveloppées devant la bouche.

Reverse description : Cheval libre bondissant à droite, un petit cheval (à la crinière bouletée) à gauche entre les jambes ; et une sorte d’écureuil assis sur la croupe du cheval principal.

Commentary

Ce bronze est particulièrement intéressant, car il montre un petit cheval sous le cheval principal qui semble ne pas avoir été remarqué jusqu'ici (cf. MONNAIES XXIII, n° 866).
This bronze is particularly interesting because it shows a small horse below the main horse which seems not to have been noticed until now (cf. COINS XXIII, no. 866)
