Commentary

Joli portrait de l’impératrice jeune bien avant le portrait empâté des fameux thalers de 1780. On doit noter qu’elle est cuirassée avec les ptéryges aux épaules.
A beautiful portrait of the young Empress, well before the impasto portrait on the famous thalers of 1780. It should be noted that she is armored with pteryges on her shoulders.
