Reverse description : Léto drapée marchant à droite, la tête tournée à gauche, tenant dans ses bras ses deux enfants (Apollon et Artémis) face à face, tenant chacun un arc et tirant une flèche de leur carquois.

Rubans de type 3. Ptéryges fines sous le paludamentum. Les auteurs du Roman Provincial Coinage ont recensé seulement six exemlplaires avec un poids moyen de 6,43 g.

After the eviction of the Gordians in Africa, the Senate appoints two of its members to fight against Maximin. The descent towards Italy is stopped in front of Aquilée, where it is assassinated in April 238. Balbin, great administrator, remains in Rome while Pupien takes the direction of the military affairs. Despite this efficient distribution of roles, Balbin does not manage to get along with his colleague Pupien. They are first forced to adopt the last male survivor of the Gordian family (Gordian the Younger), promoted to Caesar in February or March. Balbin and Pupien are both murdered, possibly in late April or early May. The new chronology is based on the work of A. Chastagnol and his introduction to the History of Augustus.
