Commentary

La Gendarmerie autrichienne est fondée en 1849 suite aux révolutions de 1848. Dissoute en 1938 suite à l’Anschluss, elle est recréée en 1945. En 2005, il est fusionnée avec la Police Fédérale.
The Austrian Gendarmerie was founded in 1849 following the revolutions of 1848. Dissolved in 1938 following the Anschluss, it was recreated in 1945. In 2005, it was merged with the Federal Police.
