Pièce commémorative circulante avec le poinçon des émissions communes. Pour 2007 le thème retenu par le Programme des émissions communes est “Les accomplissements européens”.
Cette 5 euro autrichienne est inspiré d’une célèbre photographie de l’ouverture de la session du parlement autrichien après les élections de 1907. Deux portraits apparaissent dans des cadres ovales, ceux de l’empereur François-Joseph et de son premier ministre Max Wladimir von Beck.
Ceux-ci furent les instigateurs de la réforme du droit de vote accordé à tous les hommes de plus de 24 ans, de la partie autrichienne de l’Empire seulement

For 2007, the theme chosen by the Joint Issue Program is “European Achievements.” This Austrian 5 euro coin is inspired by a famous photograph of the opening of the Austrian parliament after the 1907 elections. Two portraits appear in oval frames: those of Emperor Franz Joseph and his Prime Minister Max Wladimir von Beck. They were the instigators of the reform of the right to vote granted to all men over 24, in the Austrian part of the Empire only.
