Cinquième pièce commémorative (sur dix prévues) de la série “L’Autriche vu par ses enfants” dédiée aux neuf provinces fédérales autrichiennes.
Cette série se déroule sur cinq années (2012-2017) avec l’émission de deux pièces par an. La dixième et dernière pièce de cette série sera consacrée à l’Autriche dans son ensemble.

Un concours a été lancé dans les écoles autrichiennes auprès d’enfants de 9-10 ans pour qu’ils dessinent leur province. Le dessin gagnant est reproduit sur l’avers de chaque pièce.
Le revers de chaque pièce est illustré par un monument autrichien remarquable classé au Patrimoine mondial de l’Unesco

This is the fifth commemorative coin (out of ten planned) in the series “Austria Through the Eyes of Its Children,” dedicated to the nine Austrian federal provinces. This series runs for five years (2012-2017), with two coins issued annually. The tenth and final coin in this series will be devoted to Austria as a whole. The nine regions will be (in order of release) as follows: - 2012 Styria (Steiermark) - 2012 Carinthia (Kärnten) - 2013 Lower Austria (Niederösterreich) - 2013 Vorarlberg - 2014 Salzburg (Salzburg) - 2014 Tyrol - 2015 Vienna (Wien) - 2015 Burgenland - 2016 Upper Austria (Oberösterreich). A competition was launched in Austrian schools for 9-10 year olds to draw their province. The winning drawing is reproduced on the obverse of each coin. The reverse of each coin features a notable Austrian monument listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
