Cette monnaie a été frappée pour l’inauguration du bâtiment du parlement à Camberra en 1927 en remplacement du parlement de Melbourne. Dès l’origine, le ‘Old Parliament House’ était un bâtiment provisoire mais il servit plus de 60 ans car il ne fut remplacé qu’en 1988..
This coin was struck for the opening of the Parliament House in Camberra in 1927, replacing the Parliament House in Melbourne. The Old Parliament House was originally a temporary building, but it served for over 60 years, as it was not replaced until 1988.
