Monnaie frappée sur un flan court, semblant être en bon or jaune. Le flan a une légère échancrure sur le bout de la jambe avant du cheval

Obverse description : Tête humaine stylisée à gauche, une grosse mèche de cheveux sur l'oreille.

Commentary
Les deux seuls exemplaires connus et publiés semblent être ceux de la collection Danicourt, au musée de Péronne et du musée de Rouen. Si l'hémistatère de cette série au loup est connu à de "nombreux" exemplaire, le quart semble excessivement rare ; cet exemplaire semble être le troisième connu.

GALLIA - AULERCI EBUROVICES (Area of Évreux)
(3rd - 1st century BC)
The Aulerci were subdivided into three tribes: Aulerci Diablintes, Aulerci Cenomani and Aulerci Éburovices. The territory of Aulerques Éburovices corresponds to the current department of Eure. They are quoted several times in Caesar's Commentaries. According to the latter, they would have massacred their Senate favorable to the Romans in 56 BC and would have joined the Unelles and the revolted Lexoviens. In 52 BC, they provided a contingent of three thousand men to the relief army. : Caesar (BG.(II, 34; III, 17, 29; VII, 4, 75; VIII, 7). Kruta: 72.
