Patine grise. Très beau portrait. Revers de très joli style. Moules assez mal ajustés, ce qui donne une monnaie de flan très large

Le portrait de cet exemplaire est tout à inhabituel, avec la tête à droite et le traitement des cheveux. Le revers est tout aussi spectaculaire, avec les cinq globules au lieu des trois habituels.

GALLIA - AULERCI EBUROVICES (Area of Évreux)
(3rd - 1st century BC)
The Aulerci were subdivided into three tribes: Aulerci Diablintes, Aulerci Cenomani and Aulerci Éburovices. The territory of Aulerques Éburovices corresponds to the current department of Eure. They are quoted several times in Caesar's Commentaries. According to the latter, they would have massacred their Senate favorable to the Romans in 56 BC and would have joined the Unelles and the revolted Lexoviens. In 52 BC, they provided a contingent of three thousand men to the relief army. : Caesar (BG.(II, 34; III, 17, 29; VII, 4, 75; VIII, 7). Kruta: 72.
