Coments on the condition:
Flan un peu court et irrégulier, mais frappe vigoureuse avec un beau portrait et un magnifique revers. Patine sombre et brillante, surtout au revers

Obverse legend : ANÉPIGRAPHE.
Obverse description : Tête diadémée d’Apollon à droite, les cheveux retombant en boucles sur la nuque ; devant le visage, pampre.
Reverse
Reverse legend : ANÉPIGRAPHE.
Reverse description : Cheval libre galopant à droite ; au-dessus du cheval, un annelet pointé ; devant la tête du cheval, une feuille de lierre ; sous le poitrail du cheval, un annelet pointé et un sanglier à droite.
Commentary
Le seul autre exemplaire que nous ayons proposé est le n° 703 de MONAIES XV. La composition du revers est très proche, mais en miroir, de celle du bronze IBRVIXS (DT. 2434).

GALLIA - AULERCI EBUROVICES (Area of Évreux)
(3rd - 1st century BC)
The Aulerci were subdivided into three tribes: Aulerci Diablintes, Aulerci Cenomani and Aulerci Éburovices. The territory of Aulerques Éburovices corresponds to the current department of Eure. They are quoted several times in Caesar's Commentaries. According to the latter, they would have massacred their Senate favorable to the Romans in 56 BC and would have joined the Unelles and the revolted Lexoviens. In 52 BC, they provided a contingent of three thousand men to the relief army. : Caesar (BG.(II, 34; III, 17, 29; VII, 4, 75; VIII, 7). Kruta: 72.
