L’an 7 de Tibère (20-21) marque la reprise des tétradrachmes de billon interrompue depuis Cléopâtre. Ce type est rare en bon état de conservation.

AUGUSTUS and TIBERIUS

(2-14)

Tiberius, son-in-law (son of Livia) and son-in-law (husband of Julie) of Augustus experienced a long crossing of the desert between 6 BC and 2 AD, in exile in Rhodes . He returned to Rome after the death of Gaius Caesar and two years later was appointed as Augustus' successor and associated with power. In 14 at the death of Augustus, he succeeded him without problem.
