Denier sur un flan un peu court et ovale avec des types complets. Patine grise, un peu hétérogène, avec des reliefs légèrement émoussés

Commentary


Ce denier, vraisemblablement continental, semble complètement inédit, même si certains points communs peuvent être trouvés avec d’autres monnaies mérovingiennes.
Sur cet exemplaire, le personnage ne tient pas de croix, mais semble tenir les deux grandes lettres qui l’entourent. La légende h.C au revers se retrouve en cantonnement d'une croix, avec H - CI sur le triens B. 1588.
