Commentary
Considéré à tort comme un sceat probablement anglo-saxon dans MONNAIES 33, cette monnaie semble plutôt être un denier continental. Les types de droit et de revers, bien que pouvant être rapprochés de diverses monnaies (continentales ou insulaires), ne semblent pas correspondre exactement aux monnaies connues et publiées.

The attributions being based on often old works, a coin unknown at the time will often have difficulty in being attributed, unless it is possible to read the mint or find the name of the mint and compare with its production in the workshops where he minted coins....
