Denier sur un flan large, mais avec une frappe décentrée au droit. Le revers est presque complet avec une zone plus floue vers 3 heures. Patine grise et granuleuse, légèrement piquée par endroits

Ce type de denier semble inclassable précisément, avec des légendes fragmentaires ou difficiles à restituer.
La terminaison (?) DEBER au revers peut correspondre à de nombreux personnage, sans qu’aucun ne corresponde avec les lettres qui précèdent.
Au droit, le type de tête est très fruste et la légende mal venue.

Many Merovingian coins, badly minted, with very poor or inexplicit epigraphy, cannot be attributed to a particular mint. Too rare coins unfortunately have the same problem. The attributions being based on often old works, a coin unknown at the time will often have difficulty in being attributed, unless it is possible to read the mint or find the name of the mint and compare with its production in the workshops where he minted coins....
