Frappe bien centrée avec un écu bien détaillé au droit. Patine noire au droit sur les fonds avec les reliefs de couleur métallique. Patine sombre par endroits au revers

Catherine de Lorraine is the daughter of Charles de Lorraine, better known as Duke of Mayenne, head of the League following his brother and Henriette de Savoie-Villars, born in 1585. She is the first wife of Charles I of Gonzague with whom she married in 1599 in Soissons. She died on March 8, 1618 in Paris. She is the mother of Charles de Gonzague, Louise-Marie de Gonzague-Nevers, born in 1611, and Anne de Gonzague, born in 1616.
