Très bel exemplaire avec une jolie patine de médaillier. Flan large. Faiblesse de frappe au revers sur le bucrane

Obverse description : Tête masculine à gauche entre un ruban et un étendard ; la tête est surmontée d'un croissant bouleté.

The Himyarites are mentioned by Pliny (VI, 161). "Happy Arabia" was not part of the Roman Empire but was very important strategically for controlling the spice and silk route to and from India and China.
