Exemplaire sur un petit flan épais, légèrement stylisé des deux côtés. Beau portrait de haut relief. Joli revers. Belle patine de collection

Obverse description : Tête masculine à gauche entre un ruban et un étendard ; grènetis circulaire.
Reverse
Reverse legend : ANÉPIGRAPHE.
Reverse description : Bucrane d'antilope entre un monogramme à gauche et un ruban à droite ; le tout dans une couronne terminée par un croissant bouleté.
Commentary
Poids léger. Buste légèrement stylisé avec un menton proéminent aux extrémités bouletées.

The Himyarites are mentioned by Pliny (VI, 161). "Happy Arabia" was not part of the Roman Empire but was very important strategically for controlling the spice and silk route to and from India and China.
