ANGOUMOIS - COUNTY OF ANGOULÊME behalf of Louis IV d'Outremer (936-954)

According F. Dumas, the counts of Angoulême depended Counts of Poitiers as the Viscounts of Limoges. William of Tow (932-963) or William II (963-990) were the Counts of Poitiers in the late tenth century. Two Arnaud succeeded at the head of the county in the second half of the tenth century Bouration Arnaud and Arnaud Manzer who were also counts of Périgord.
