Commentary
La scène représentée ne semble pas être la Cène, avec seulement huit personnes autour de la table et deux servant au second plan. Les deux écus à l’exergue ne sont pas gravés ; peut-être s’agit-il d’une médaille de mariage, les écu devant alors être gravées aux armes des époux ?.
The scene depicted does not appear to be the Last Supper, with only eight people around the table and two serving in the background. The two shields in the exergue are not engraved; perhaps it is a wedding medal, in which case the shields would have been engraved with the coats of arms of the couple?

Historical background
LOVE AND MARRIAGE
It was customary in the past to give a treizain during the wedding mass. This treizain was blessed and signified entry into a community of property for the married couple. The treizain, which later became a medal or wedding token, was so called in honor of Jesus Christ and the twelve apostles. This practice continued until the first half of the 20th century. The reference work on the subject is the work of Jules Florange, Love and marriage in numismatics, Moulins, 1936 now replaced by that of Henri Térisse, La Numismatique du Mariage, Argenton-sur-Creuse 2008.
