En 1806, Joachim Murat devient duc de Berg avant de devenir en 1808 roi de Naples. Napoléon Louis Bonaparte, fils de Louis Bonaparte et neveu de Napoléon Bonaparte lui succède de 1808 à 1815, date à laquelle le duché est rattaché à la Prusse.
In 1806, Joachim Murat became Duke of Berg before becoming King of Naples in 1808. Napoleon Louis Bonaparte, son of Louis Bonaparte and nephew of Napoleon Bonaparte, succeeded him from 1808 to 1815, when the duchy was annexed to Prussia.
