Ce type fut frappé entre 1789 et 1800 dans le système de Leipzig comme il est indiqué au revers. La pièce de 24 mariengroschen y correspond au deux tiers de thaler. Dans la pièce de 10 thalers il y a 11,97 g d'or pur. Le thaler d'argent pèse 28,06 d'argent à 833 millièmes soit 23,37 g. Le ratio or/argent est très favorable à l'or avec 1:19,5. Ce ratio sera conservé dans le nouveau royaume de Westphalie, taillé sur mesure pour Jérôme Napoléon en 1807.
