Exemplaire sur un petit flan ovale, bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Très beau portrait particulier d’Alexandre Sévère. Joli revers de style fin. Belle patine grise avec des reflets dorés. Conserve une partie de son brillant de frappe et de son coupant d’origine

Reverse description : Libertas (la Liberté) debout à gauche, tenant de la main droite un bonnet (pileus) et un long sceptre vertical de la gauche.

Commentary
Rubans de type 3. Trace de frappe incuse au revers. Sur cet exemplaire précoce, le portrait d’Alexandre Sévère fait encore penser à celui d’Élagabal. Sous le buste, nous semblons avoir une marque.  Au revers, nous avons encore l’étoile, rencontrée sur le monnayage de son prédécesseur.
