En 1982, le Luxembourg reprend la série non émise de 1963 pour préparer une émission d'urgence après la dévaluation du Franc Belge, cette série ne sera finalement pas émise. Ce billet n'a pas été émis, pourtant cet exemplaire est bien coursable.
In 1982, Luxembourg reissued the unissued 1963 series to prepare for an emergency issue following the devaluation of the Belgian Franc; this series was ultimately not issued. This banknote was not issued, yet this example is certainly circulationable.
