Commentary

Rarissime et étonnant billet de nécessité (67 x 53 mm ), émis par le photographe L. Gauthier à Papeete.
Il s'agit d'un tirage argentique sur papier cartonné. Au recto : un couple de Tahitiens et une vue de Mooréa, ainsi que la valeur faciale : " Bon pour Deux Francs - Monnaie locale - Papeete 1920 ", la signature de Gauthier, ainsi qu'un un timbre sec" L. GAUTHIER / TAHITI ". Au verso : " L. GAUTHIER - Papeete - Tahiti " et une mention manuscrite à l'encre violette : " Non remboursable après le 30 Juin 1920 ".
