Coments on the condition:
Monnaie bien identifiable, avec les types de droit et de revers presque complet. Flan en bronze, avec une patine verte et des concrétions hétérogène, surtout au droit

Commentary


Ce type est censé être un denier d'argent, mais cette série est attestée par des exemplaire en mauvais métal, presque du bronze.En 1859, De Coster proposait d'attribuer ce genre de monnaies à Pépin de Herstal, ancêtre de Charlemagne. Cette attribution est à abandonner ; bien que classées parmi les anglo-saxonnes, ces monnaies proviendraient de la région de Namur.
